Kids love to learn. Join PBS39 for our Raising Readers workshop hosted at participating schools over a 3-week period. Offered to caregivers and your child’s classroom teacher, this is a great way to become more involved in your child’s education.
To ensure the highest level of education for your child, each Raising Readers program is limited to 25 caregivers and lasts for two hours. Interact one-on-one with your child’s teacher while your child engages in activities. Each evening features a fun way to promote lifelong learning.
Our Raising Readers workshops are facilitated by PBS 39 state-certified teachers in English and Spanish and supported by television programs in English and Spanish including Sesame Street and Plaza Sesamo.
PBS39 and our project partners have been conducting these programs in the Lehigh Valley for over 12 years with great success, and are excited to continue this tradition.
